"Under Paris Skies"
2007 New Year’s Routine
1/1/2007

Follow Captain, Phil Rotindo, through the streets of Paris as he leads the Ferko String Band to their 3rd Prize performance and his second First Place victory. Also, pay close attention to his costume or  should we say costumes? Captain Rotindo actually will change into 3 different costumes in the 4 1/2 minute routine,  a very difficult maneuver.

Convention Hall Show of Shows

This is considered one of the best routines The Ferko String Band ever performed. Narrowly missing First Prize, the Class of 1993 comes back strong to win First Prize in the 1994, 1996, 1997 and 1998 New Year’s Day Parades.

Ferko, award winning Captain, Philadelphia legend, all around gentleman ... collapses and passes away.

"Vine Street Drag"

WOW!!! While The Joseph A. Ferko String Band has recorded more than 20 CD's, LP's, and Cassettes, 2 Billboard Top 25 Hits, nothing compares to this amateur recording of one of the most difficult pieces of music in Mummers history, "Vine Street Drag".
